First Things First
A custom WordPress site for a governmental organization focused on early childhood development featuring a wealth of great content and dynamic integrations to a SharePoint API.
A voter-led initiative in Arizona created First Things First, a governmental organization dedicated to funding early education and health programs and educating parents about caring for their children in early childhood. This new organization needed a website that would make finding resources and reading educational content extremely easy.
Harmonic Northwest built a website for First Things First that features several tracks of educational materials including tips for parents, guidance for locating resources, regional information, articles describing why early education matters, relevant statewide news and updates about the organization. We created real-time lookups that query a SharePoint API to show public meeting notices, publications, grant opportunities and more, and made that data filterable by region. We built and integrated tools that allow users to search for First Things First programs and FTF-funded local child care.
The site admirably serves Arizona families and continues to grow and develop as statewide priorities change.
The site uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics for tracking. It was built for responsiveness and for search engine optimization.
